The Institutes of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD) signed an agreement with the China International Import Expo Bureau to become a partner of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, an important part of the annual CIIE, on Aug 16 in Beijing.

The two parties will cooperate on matters including writing and publishing reports, research consulting, as well as holding sub-forums and special activities.

The CASISD is responsible for studying major issues such as the impact of science and technology on social and economic development, and providing insights that inform the making of macro decisions.
