This Privacy Policy outlines the contents, purpose and protection of the collected information and disclaimer. CIIE complies with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China concerning the collection and processing of user’s information.

Purpose of Information Collection

For the purpose of registration in the CIIE system and the Expo’s review and statistical analysis, etc,it is necessary for you to fill in relevant information at the time of registration. Such information will be used for information input, filing, review, comparison, statistical analysis, entity and individual information output and backup, online application for the Expo participation, information registration of exhibitors and professional visitors, completion of related matters concerning formalities after the registration of exhibitors and professional visitors, as well as other legitimate purposes of the CIIE.

Information Provided to Us by Users

If you are an individual user, the information you provide us includes, but is not limited to, name, address, nationality, identity credential(s), job title, identification photo, phone number and email address.

If you are an entity user, the information you provide us includes, but is not limited to, entity name, nature, registered capital, import business data, unified social credit code, address, website, phone number, business scope, business type(s) and product introduction.

Privacy Protection

CIIE protects user’s information according to laws and regulations and does not publish or disclose user’s registration information to any third party without authorization, except in the following cases:

☆ We have been expressly authorized by the user in advance.

☆ We publish or disclose in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations.

☆ We publish or disclose s required by competent government authority.

☆ We publish or disclose to maintain social and public interest and safety.

☆ We publish or disclose to safeguard the legitimate interests of CIIE or to carry out statistical, analytical or verification work.

☆ Any leakage, loss, theft or tampering of your registration information is the result that you did not register or provide information through the channel (s) other than this official website.

☆ Any leakage, loss, theft or tampering of users’ registration information is caused by the force majeure event such as temporary shut-down of network or others that impact the normal operation of network due to hacking, computer virus intrusion or attack, and government regulations.

☆ Any leakage of users’ registration information is caused by other website(s) linked to this website and any legal dispute and consequence arising from such leakage.

Applicable language

This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use were written in Chinese, their English version is only for reference, if there is any inconsistence or conflict between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Dispute Resolution

CIIE reserves the right of final interpretation of the Terms. In case of any conflict or discrepancy between the Terms and relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China currently in force, the relevant laws and regulations shall prevail.

Any dispute arising from or in connection with the Terms shall be resolved by the parties through negotiation. If the negotiation comes to no avail, either party may file a lawsuit to the people’s court with jurisdiction at the location of CIIE.
