The first China International Import Expo (CIIE) will kick off in Shanghai on Nov. 5. It is not just another expo in an ordinary sense, but a major policy initiative and commitment taken of our own accord to open up the Chinese market.

Q: What new products will Golden Koala present at the first China International Import Expo? 

A: Currently, Golden Koala’s products include infant formula, adult milk powder, skim milk powder, and full cream milk powder. We will release new products, including milk powder for toddlers above 3, young women, and pregnant women. We hope to help women and their babies go through the pregnancy period more easily. 

In addition, we will also release milk powder for seniors to help them keep healthy physically and mentally. Via the import expo, we hope to bring our newest series of products to Chinese consumers first. 

We realize that in China an increasing number of young women choose to work during pregnancy and after giving birth. Meanwhile, they care very much about the health of their babies and themselves. They want formula milk which is scientifically produced and completely reliable. We have been on the Chinese market for 6 years. We want to introduce new products in line with market trends so as to boost our sales. 

Q: What expectations do you have for the China International Import Expo? 

A: The import expo will offer a great opportunity for Australian and global enterprises to increase their shares in the Chinese market. We think the import expo is a best platform for Golden Koala to introduce quality products to Chinese consumers and buyers. 

Q: As a foreign company manager, what do you think of China’s business environment? 

A: China’s customs, inspection and quarantine departments’ efforts to coordinate innovation and optimize processes have saved company time and operating costs. We highly appreciate the Chinese government’s measures to improve administrative services. That will surely attract more international enterprises to bring products and technologies to China.
