On December 19, Daina Klepone, Managing Director of Enterprise Lithuania, which is Lithuania's official organizer of its participation in CIIE, signed letter of intent to participate in China International Import Expo. Lithuania will reserve 160-200 square meters exhibition area in food and agriculture, garment and consumer goods to showcase Lithuanian high quality products.

Daina Klepone said, China is one of the priority markets for Lithuania, and we are very glad to be part of this exhibition. Thanks to the Embassy of China in Lithuania and China International Import Expo Bureau. Lithuanian economy is in an active growth stage now and we see a lot of potential for our companies to export to China. Especially, China market is the second-biggest economy in the world. We see a very high potential for our high-technology sectors, such as optical and medical devices, laser and bio-tech. Same big potential we see for traditional industries such as food and garment. We look forward and we expect that this exhibition will be a real breakthrough for our trade relations with China.
