I'm Liu Minghua, the innovation partner and East China general manager of Deloitte.

We are very proud to attend the first China International Import Expo and be able to endow Chinese enterprises with the theme of diligence and intelligence.

It has been 25 years since I first joined Deloitte China in 1993.

In 1917, Deloitte opened its first office on the Bund. And now with the 40th anniversary of Reform and Opening up, and with the development of Chinese economy, Deloitte has made rapid development in China.

The first China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai, having special meaning for both Shanghai and even the whole Chinese economy, because in the process of the past 40 years, China gradually change from the world manufacturing factory to the world's second-largest economy lead by high-tech, showing China has become more open.

The first import expo in China is a platform which can attract the world's leading manufacturing science and technology into China and better combine both importers and exporters.

Deloitte’s theme of the expo is digital and intelligent. In fact, I want to make a metaphor, in today's world and the economic environment, the number are like the oil in the ground. If oil is not exploited, it has no value at all, because it can’t provide any sustenance.

For today's world, digital is the same. The digital value is infinite, but if it is not dug and developed by people and used in commercial areas, it also like oil lying under the ground. There is no way to embody the value.

Therefore, Deloitte as the world's largest professional services firm, has always been the most daring to think and do. So with the most advanced technology in the world, we combined the understanding in different business, changing digital into value and end-to-end solutions, such as financial science and technology, we have the anti-money laundering robot, such as smart cities, and intelligent travel.

Today, with the rapid development of science and technology and the extensive use of robots, how can human beings have a change in the organizational structure to bring our society to a higher level?

Therefore, in this expo, we are eager to bring these technologies and solutions to our Chinese market and introduce them to more Chinese enterprises, which can help us always be the forefront of the entire digital wave.

We also really agree with the concept of the expo ‘6 + 365’ meaning the expo never ends, because the expo is not a one-week activity but throughout the year. Importers and exporters have more communication and create more commercial value in the week, which is also a concept we highly admire.

Deloitte is looking forward to the opening of the first China International Import Expo on November 5. We also invite you to pay attention to the CIIE, to the series of solutions that Deloitte has put forward at the expo.

I look forward to meeting you at the expo.
