Nihao, I’m Pu Jianfei. I’m the president of Lesaffre in China. It is my great pleasure to be with you today.

I was working for Lesaffre for the last 10 years and coming for Lesaffre in China for the last 2 years. And yes, I move with my wife and my last son in Shanghai, and really appreciate the life in Shanghai. And it’s on the same time a Chinese city and an international city, amazing city.

The CIIE here will be probably the most important event of the year. It will be a good opportunity for us to show that we’re coming in China with the Belt and Road Initiative on the other side coming from the west, to the east.

And so we could demonstrate with the long term partnership we have with JD, with Chinese people, that we could be, and all people could be successful in China.

It’s a very big platform for us to increase our exposure to a lot of people, to customers and also suppliers, and probably also a good platform for create relationship with a lot of different companies for innovation in the future.

I could tell you about we will demonstrate our products, in the yeast extract, and in the bread making, and make some food to enjoy the pleasure to be in CIIE.

In fact, you are eating yeast, but you don’t know you are eating yeast.

Because you are eating yeast during eating Mantou and Baozi. Each time that we are using Danish product, but also in the beverage, because each time you are drinking some beer or alcohol, there is obviously yeast in.

Obviously, we start in China to demonstrate what we could call “European Bread”, and no other agents here we have. But now we have a large range of products dedicate to Mantou, Baozi, to make the bread.

We are working yeast extracts with Master Kong and all the Asian players, to have delicate product for I would say Chinese and Asian people.

All the products we are selling in China are manufactured in China. There is no import yeast or other product. We are producing Chinese product in China for Chinese citizen, and all the raw materials we’re using are coming from China.

Chinese market is probably the most dynamic market in the world at the stage, we’re still a small part of the world at this stage, but we expect China will lead a large part of all our activities in the future. Obviously, Shanghai is the center for business and he’s provided easy life for everybody.

Positively you know what we are here for 30 years and we will stay for the next 300 years probably.

We are really pleased to work and to become more and more Chinese company and we are wishing a very good great success to CIIE and demonstrate that the world is a whole global family like the staff and the company for me.
