中国作为世界上最大的发展中国家，走出了一条符合自身国情的中国式现代化道路，对广大发展中国家的现代化探索、世界现代化进程都将带来持续而深远的影响。中国式现代化是建设开放型世界经济的重大机遇。当前，全球开放发展面临诸多困难，世界经济和贸易增长动能减弱。中国式现代化在实现自身发展的同时，为世界经济复苏注入更多正能量、为建设开放型世界经济提供更多稳定性和新机遇。IMF专家表示，2023年中国对世界经济的增长贡献将为30%左右。中国的开放发展，还将助力亚洲成为疫后全球经济最具活力地区。中国式现代化拓展了世界现代化道路的选择，为广大发展中国家提供了现代化的宝贵经验，丰富了开放型世界经济的理论与实践形态，增进了关于世界现代化文明形态多元的认知。中国在推进现代化进程中，将绿色、和平、互利共赢的发展理念与共商、共建、共享的治理理念融入到国际发展合作中，为全球可持续发展作出了突出贡献。世界现代化进程不仅包括发达国家的现代化，更应海纳众多发展中国家的现代化探索实践。中国愿同各国携手共同发展，实现“和平发展、互利合作、共同繁荣的世界现代化”。

The following text is based on the speech of President of Research Center for Hongqiao International Economic Forum Gu Xueming at the “Press Release and International Symposium on World Openness Report 2023” :

As the largest developing country in the world, China has embarked on a Chinese-style modernization path suited to its own national conditions, which will have a lasting and far-reaching impact on the modernization efforts of other developing countries and the world modernization process. Chinese-style modernization is a major opportunity for building an open world economy. At present, the world faces many difficulties in opening up and development, and the growth momentum of the world economy and trade has weakened. While achieving its own development, China's modernization will inject more positive energy into world economic recovery and provide more stability and new opportunities for building an open world economy. According to IMF experts, China's contribution to world economic growth in 2023 will be about 30 percent. China's opening-up and development will also help Asia become the most dynamic region in the post-COVID-19 world. The Chinese-style modernization has expanded the choice of the path of world modernization, provided the vast number of developing countries with valuable experience in modernization, enriched the theory and practice of an open world economy, and enhanced the understanding of the diversified forms of world modernization and civilization. In the process of modernization, China has integrated the concepts of green, peaceful, mutually beneficial and win-win development and the governance concept of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits into international development cooperation, making outstanding contributions to global sustainable development. The process of world modernization includes not only the modernization of developed countries, but also the exploration and practice of modernization of many developing countries. China is willing to work with other countries for common development and achieve “a world modernization featuring peaceful development, mutually beneficial cooperation and common prosperity ”.
