大家好，我是中关村储能产业技术联盟理事长、中国科学院工程热物理研究所所长陈海生，很高兴能够参加第八届虹桥国际经济论坛新型储能高质量发展促进全球能源转型分论坛。当前，全球能源格局深刻变革，发展新型储能技术是各国保障能源安全、应对气候变化的共同责任。

当前，中国新型储能桩机规模已跃居世界第一，成为最大的新型储能应用市场。中国新型储能产业正由高速发展向高质量发展转变的关键时期，我们更加需要汇聚全球智慧，深化在技术、公关与市场开拓方面的协作。这正是（第八届）虹桥论坛的主题：开放共创新机遇，合作共享新未来。通过汇聚全球政商学界的智慧，探讨如何构建更加开放、稳定、合作的国际环境，让储能技术更好的惠及全球能源转型。

非常期待能在论坛期间与全球各界新老朋友面对面沟通，就新型储能全球合作进行深入交流。预祝第八届虹桥国际经济论坛圆满成功，期待与大家在上海相聚，共话开放，共创未来。

Good day, I am Chen Haisheng, Chairman of the China Energy Storage Alliance and Director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a great pleasure to participate in the New Energy Storage: Driving Global Energy Transition session at the 8^th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). The global energy landscape is undergoing profound transformation. Developing new energy storage technologies is a shared responsibility for nations to ensure energy security and address climate change.

Today, China leads the world in new energy storage deployment, becoming the largest market for its application. As China’s new energy storage industry transitions from rapid growth to high-quality development, it is crucial to leverage global expertise and deepen collaboration in technology, innovation, and market expansion. This aligns with the theme of the (8^th) HQF: Opening Up for New Opportunities, Collaborating for a Shared Future. By bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and academics worldwide, we aim to foster a more open, stable, and collaborative international environment, ensuring energy storage technologies benefit global energy transition efforts.

I look forward to engaging with friends old and new during the forum to explore international cooperation in new energy storage. I wish the 8^th HQF every success and look forward to meeting you in Shanghai to discuss openness and shared progress.
