As intelligent algorithms illuminate every corner of our cities, as large language models reconfigure the innovation logic of industries, and as AI technologies bridge continents and connect the world—we are standing at a defining moment where artificial intelligence is reshaping human civilization. From precision breakthroughs in medical diagnostics to safety safeguards for autonomous driving, from streamlined operations in smart factories to the tangible impact of inclusive technology, every leap in AI unlocks new potential for human life.

但当创新的火花在全球各地竞相绽放，我们也在面临着共同的挑战。技术标准的碎片化、区域规则的差异化，让全球AI创新者们屡遇障碍：产品兼容性不足、数据流通受阻、安全底线不一……人工智能发展，不是一国一地的独舞，而是全球携手的交响，也呼唤着属于全球AI人的“标准共识”。

Yet, as sparks of innovation flare up across the globe, we are also confronted with shared challenges. Fragmented standards and divergent regional regulations pose challenges for global AI innovators: lack of compatibility across products; impeded data flow across borders; varying safety standards... The advance of artificial intelligence is not a solo performance by any single country or region; it is a symphony that requires the world to join hands in harmony. And it is calling for a “standards consensus” for all those working in AI.

今天，上海市人工智能行业协会会同全国人工智能标准化技术组织、人工智能相关企业以及国际元宇宙协会、国际数字转型联合会、香港生成式人工智能研发中心等机构，在此发出倡议：增进人工智能国际标准交流合作，共同开展人工智能技术、应用、治理等标准制定，一起用协商一致的标准守护创新的热情，让AI技术在规范中跑得更快、走得更远！让最好的技术，不止于高效应用，更能成为支撑世界公平生长的基石。

Today, the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, together with national AI standardization bodies in China, leading AI enterprises, the International Metaverse Association, the Association for Digital Transformation, the Hong Kong Generative AI Research & Development Center(HKGAI), and other partners, hereby issues this call: let us deepen international exchange and cooperation on AI standards, jointly develop standards for AI technologies, applications and governance to preserve the enthusiasm for innovation through consensus-based standards, enabling AI technologies to advance faster and further within ethical frameworks, and ensuring that the best technologies not only drive efficiency but also become the foundation for a fair and thriving world.
