CITS Group Shanghai Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1987, CITS group Shanghai Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “CITS Shanghai”) is the only wholly owned subsidiary of China International Travel Service Corp in Shanghai, with registered capital of RMB 50 million Yuan.  CITS Shanghai has been assessed and granted the certification of AAAAA Class Travel Service, which is the superior grade in travel agencies in Shanghai. CITS Shanghai owns more than 60 traditional sales offices and “CITS online” sales platform, its main business including: outbound tourism, inbound tourism, domestic tourism, MICE, Group sales of major customers, visa services, airline ticketing, etc.

CITS Shanghai has been awarded many honorary titles for consecutive years, such as "Top 100 enterprises of international travel agency", "Shanghai Municipal Tourism Commission civilized unit", "Advanced enterprise of CITS” and “Advanced enterprise of CITS HEAD OFFICE". In 2003, CITS Shanghai passed the ISO9001 - 2000 international quality system certification, and was awarded the title of "excellent service star unit" by SASAC in 2007.  In 2017, CITS Shanghai passed the project acceptance of municipal tourism standardization pilot work with the highest marks, and passed the ISO9001:2015 international quality management system certification in the same year.

In April, 2016, CITS Shanghai joined forces with CTS and BA-SHI Travel to sign a strategic cooperation agreement, which made the total number of the business departments of the three leading travel agencies reach 150 in shanghai, and the offline sales network covered the whole area of Shanghai. As a traditional travel agency, CITS Shanghai is also committed to the online cooperation with OTA, and gradually a sound momentum of significant and stable development has been showed.

CITS Shanghai has been continuously making breakthroughs and innovations, striving to build a learning-oriented enterprise culture, and drawing up the 13th Five-Year Plan, namely Cohesion Strengthen in 2016, Service Increment in 2017, Quality Enhancement in 2018, Channel Development in 2019, Brand Promotion in 2020. Meanwhile, the "1·1·2" development strategy has also been formulated, that is to set up 100 sales offices by 2018, to increase annual revenue of sales offices to 1 billion Yuan by 2019, and to boost the annual revenue of CITS shanghai over 2 billion Yuan by 2020.

As a member of the Asia Pacific Tourism Organization, and a member of the International air Transport Association, In the future, CITS Shanghai will rely on the advantage of important port in Yangtze River delta economic belt construction to actively implement the national "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy, constantly enhance the strength of enterprise, steadily expand the scale of operation to strive to become the important hub of CITS in East china.
