The fifth edition of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, which is focused on the topic of opening-up, will again have a launch ceremony for the World Openness Report and Index.

Produced by China's authoritative think tanks, the 2022 World Openness Report covers topics including new changes in the opening-up of countries around the world as well as the status quo and prospects of global manufacturing and financial opening-up.

A seminar will also be held at the same time. Political dignitaries, representatives of international organizations, experts and scholars will be invited to discuss issues concerning global cooperation, opening-up, and economic recovery.

The inaugural editions of World Openness Report and Index were launched during the fourth Hongqiao forum in 2021.
