The fifth Hongqiao International Economic Forum started registration for its sub-forums on Sept 13.

This year's Hongqiao forum, which will be held during the fifth China International Import Expo at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), will feature an opening ceremony, a high-level forum, a launch ceremony for the 2022 World Openness Report, and several sub-forums.

The forum will focus on global cooperation and topics related to opening-up. Representatives from companies, research institutes, think tanks, social organizations and government are welcome to attend the event. They are required to attend in person and will be given access to the CIIE's business exhibition.

Those interested can sign up for the forum at forum.ciie.org. Simply create a new account or log in before providing the necessary information. The registration fee for the forum is 15,000 yuan or $2,250 per person, with exchange fees not included.

Applicants can pay through the website or perform a funds transfer to the bank account designated by the Hongqiao forum's secretariat and upload the transfer voucher. Other costs incurred during the forum will be borne by participants.

The deadline for registration is Oct 15. The payment deadline falls on Oct 21.
