Report highlights media impact generated by 7th CIIE Release date: 2025-01-21 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
The Report on the Media Coverage and Influence of the Seventh China International Import Expo was released on Jan 20. The report, divided into eight chapters, provides a detailed analysis of the CIIE's communication achievements using rich data and visuals, covering areas such as the Country Exhibition, Business Exhibition, Hongqiao International Economic Forum, Supporting Events, People-to-People Exchanges, and service operations.
According to the findings, exposure of the 7th CIIE-related content exceeded 5 billion views, with over 2 million pieces of information shared across various platforms. Coverage by major domestic media outlets, social media platforms, news websites, and mobile apps contributed significantly to the expo's visibility. Over 45,000 articles about the 7th CIIE were published internationally, engaging nearly 1.2 billion people in almost 100 countries and regions. Prominent media outlets such as the Associated Press, Bloomberg, and Reuters provided frequent coverage, further amplifying the expo's global influence.
This year's report introduced several new features. Drawing on international professional standards, it upgraded its indicator system to ensure a more scientific and global representation of communication impact. It also added new rankings, including the Top 10 Country Exhibition Pavilions Activities with Significant Communication Influence at the 7th CIIE, the Top 30 Exhibition Groups with Communication Influence at the 7th CIIE, the Top 30 Full-Attendance Exhibitors with Communication Influence at the 7th CIIE, and the Top 10 Exhibitors with Communication Influence in the Innovation Incubation Special Section at the 7th CIIE. For the first time, the report included a comprehensive analysis of the communication impact of sub-forums at the Hongqiao Forum, offering a panoramic view of its domestic and international influence.
Published for seven consecutive years, the report has become a key reference for evaluating the impact of CIIE communication. Exhibitors, participants, and the media have widely recognized it for its professional insights and valuable data.
