Four Japanese enterprises signed up for the sixth China International Import Expo at a promotional event held in Tokyo, Japan, on June 26.

The event attracted over 200 representatives from the Japanese business community and media outlets.

Song Yaoming, minister of economy and commerce at the Chinese embassy in Japan, said that he hopes more Japanese business entities will participate in the sixth CIIE and engage in mutually beneficial cooperation with Chinese companies to reap the benefits of China's economic development.

Japanese organizations and companies have actively participated in the CIIE for five consecutive years, and the products, technologies and services they showcased have been well received, said Liu Fuxue, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau.

Mio Kawada, executive vice-president of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) said that the CIIE receives huge media coverage in China, making it an ideal platform for introducing high-quality Japanese goods to the Chinese market.

According to her, JETRO has been helping Japanese companies participate in the expo since 2018, and they have introduced high-quality Japanese products to the Chinese market, offering a diverse array of product experiences to Chinese consumers.
