A few Greek organizations and enterprises signed memorandums of cooperation for the sixth China International Import Expo during the promotional events held in Greece from local time May 31 to June 1. 

The promotional events, featuring a series of meetings between a CIIE work group and local organizations and enterprises such as Enterprise Greece, the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Newtons Laboratory S.A., were aimed at inviting Greece's well-known industries, enterprises and products related to shipping, tourism, consumer goods, and food to enter the Chinese market through the expo.

These meetings facilitated fruitful exchanges and discussions about various aspects of the CIIE.

Chinese Ambassador to Greece Xiao Junzheng exchanged views with the work group on the role of the CIIE in promoting bilateral trade between China and Greece.  

In addition, the work group introduced the importance and overview of the CIIE and explained related support policies to Greek enterprises and organizations.

During the meetings, some institutes and companies in Greece reached cooperation with the CIIE Bureau. The Enterprise Greece, an official agency for trade development, signed up for the country exhibition.
