During the events, a participation contract was signed with the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, signaling the state's stronger engagement in this year's expo. Representatives from Mato Grosso said that they plan to bring more local companies to the CIIE to seek business opportunities. Some companies even expressed interest in setting up offices in China to deepen their involvement. The China (Brazil) Trade Center reaffirmed its commitment to promoting CIIE and encouraging more Brazilian businesses to explore the vast Chinese market.
Bai Chunhui, counselor of the Chinese consulate general in Sao Paulo, attended the event and highlighted the growing complementarity between China and Brazil in sectors such as clean energy, digital economy, and smart agriculture. He said that the CIIE serves as an ideal platform for businesses from both countries to connect and collaborate, and that the consulate will continue to support Brazilian enterprises in attending the CIIE and facilitate stronger trade and investment ties between the two nations.
