Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Liao Xiangke, has confirmed participation in the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). He will attend the parallel session themed "Intelligent Technology and Future Industry Development" and deliver a keynote speech.

Liao Xiangke, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of Qiyuan National Laboratory, and convener of the Software Engineering Discipline Review Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. He has been engaged in the scientific research of high performance computer and operating systems. More specifically, he has participated in the development of four generations of super computer from Galaxy type II to Galaxy type V, and has led the development of Tianhe-1 and Tianhe-2, and Kylin OS. He has made significant contribution to positioning China’s high-performance computer systems at the forefront of global development, and to the independent and controllable development of domestic basic software. He is a recipient of many honors, including one special prize and four first prizes of the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, eight first prizes for Science and Technology Progress at the Ministerial Level, and two Ten Major Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Education; China Engineering Science and Technology Award (Guanghua Award), China Youth Science and Technology Award, Outstanding Scientist Award of Qiushi Fund, China Computer Federation (CCF) Wang Xuan Award, and Leading Talents in National High-Level Personnel of Special Support Program ("Ten Thousand People Program").
