The Nobel Laureate in Economics, Eric Maskin, has confirmed participation in the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). He will attend the parallel session themed "Upgrading Pilot Free Trade Zones Through Financial Reform and Innovation".

Dr. Eric Maskin is an American economist whose research interests include game theory, incentive economics, and contract theory. Dr. Maskin, with his profound theoretical contributions, rigorous academic attitude and outstanding contributions to the training of senior research talents in economics, is known as the most respected economic master in international economics today. In 2007, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics for laying the foundations of mechanism design theory.
