President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), Liu Yuanchun, has confirmed participation in the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). He will attend the parallel session themed "Understanding New Consumption Trends and Tapping New Consumption Potential" and participate in the roundtable discussion.

Liu Yuanchun is President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), Professor of Economics and PhD Supervisor. His research interests include open economy macroeconomics, monetary policy and inflation, and China's economic growth. He has published nearly 300 academic papers in leading Chinese journals such as Social Sciences in China, Economic Research Journal, Journal of Management World, Renmin Ribao, Qiushi, and authored over 20 books.
