The special committee of automotive innovation and development of the China International Import Expo Enterprise Alliance hosted an activity on Sept 11 in Beijing to discuss the development prospects of foreign automotive companies in China.

Thirteen automotive exhibitors, including Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Hyundai, participated in the event. All these companies are members of the special committee, with Ford serving as the president of the special committee.

The attendees highlighted the significance of the special committee, which encompasses a vast majority of the world's leading automotive groups. Over the past three years, the special committee has organized various activities, becoming a crucial platform for facilitating communication between the government and enterprises, fostering innovation collaborations, and promoting industry exchanges.

Participants also said that they will showcase more high-quality products at this year's expo and leverage the CIIE to embrace the opportunities presented by China.

The sixth CIIE is scheduled to take place from Nov 5 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The special committee will continue to host various activities during the sixth CIIE.
