A roadshow to recruit buyers for the seventh China International Import Expo was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province on June 20.

The CIIE exhibitors from the exhibition areas of the intelligent industry and information technology and consumer goods, such as Otis Electric, Mitsubishi Electric, Tempur, and IQAir, attended the event. Additionally, over 240 key buyers from the province engaged in discussions with the exhibitors.

Highlighting Sichuan as a major economic powerhouse in China, Wu Zhengping, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said that the province has played a pivotal role in mobilizing trade missions for the CIIE and boasts significant potential for procurement. He added that he welcomes Sichuan businesses to actively participate in this year's expo.

During the event, Chengdu Yimin International Trade Co Ltd and Chengdu Hongqi Chain Co Ltd signed memorandums of cooperation of the CIIE Bureau.
