Nearly 20 exhibitors from the intelligent industry and information technology and food and agricultural products exhibition areas attended the event, including Hexagon, Rockwell Automation, and Goodfarmer.

Additionally, over 140 buyers and business associations from the province engaged in discussions with exhibitors and established initial business connections.

Addressing the attendees, Ge Hong, chief financial officer of the CIIE Bureau, said he hopes Qingdao businesses will actively participate in the seventh CIIE and utilize the high-level open platform to seize opportunities, achieve mutual benefit, and promote common development.

According to Ge, enterprises from more than 70 countries and regions have signed up to participate in this year's expo, with booked exhibition space exceeding 300,000 square meters.

During the roadshow, Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone International Trade Group and Qingdao New Ocean Line Co Ltd signed memorandums of cooperation as key buyers with the CIIE Bureau.
