A roadshow aimed at recruiting buyers for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province, on Aug 29.

Five exhibitors from CIIE's Intelligent Industry and Informational Technology Exhibition Area and 13 from the Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area attended the roadshow. The event also attracted over 100 buyers from Hunan to attend.

According to Song Shangzhe from the CIIE Bureau, the Hunan trade mission has actively participated in the CIIE since its inception in 2018, drawing considerable attention from both domestic and international media outlets.

He expressed his hopes for Hunan businesses to utilize the national-level platform offered by CIIE, in order to partake in the opportunities arising from China's policy of opening-up.

During the roadshow, the CIIE working team introduced the preparation for CIIE, the registration procedure for professional visitors, and services for participants. The promotions for the Exhibition Areas of the Intelligent Industry and Informational Technology and the Food and Agricultural Products were also made at the event.

Additionally, Hunan Gaoqiao Grand Market Co Ltd and Hunan Haotong Holdings Group signed memorandums of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau to become key buyers of CIIE.
