A roadshow aiming to recruit buyers for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, on Sept 24.

Over 20 exhibitors from the CIIE's Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products Exhibition Area, along with over 100 buyers from Wenzhou, attended the roadshow.

Noting that Wenzhou is a pioneer in China's reform and opening-up and an early stronghold of the country's private economy, Ge Hong, chief financial officer of the CIIE Bureau, said that he welcomes enterprises from Wenzhou and all of Zhejiang to negotiate purchases and connect with the international market at the 7th CIIE, refining their industrial and supply chains and enhancing their core competitiveness.

During the roadshow, the CIIE working team also explained the overall preparations for the 7th CIIE, the registration procedures for professional visitors and services for participants. Additionally, promotions for the Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products Exhibition Area were carried out.
