Matchmaking event for 7th CIIE kicks off in Dalian Release date: 2024-08-22 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

A pre-expo supply-demand matchmaking meeting of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held on Aug 20 in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province.
The meeting, aimed at connecting CIIE exhibitors and local buyers, attracted the participation of over 30 exhibitors from the Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, the Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and the Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products Exhibition Area. Nearly 200 buyers also participated in the meeting and engaged with exhibitors to establish initial business contacts.
Ge Hong, chief financial officer of the CIIE Bureau said that he hopes the Liaoning trade mission would continue to leverage the region's distinctive industrial strengths and invite more professional buyers to participate in the CIIE and share in the opportunities provided by the expo.
According to Ge, the exhibitor recruitment work for the 7th CIIE was nearly complete and the subsequent focus of the preparation would be on enhancing the levels of services related to attending the expo, with the goal of providing exhibitors and buyers with a superior on-site participation experience.

During the meeting, there were promotions for the Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, the Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and the Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products Exhibition Area.
Additionally, Dashang Group from the Dalian trade mission signed a memorandum of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau to become a key buyer of the expo.
