A roadshow to recruit buyers for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, on Sept 10.

Eight exhibitors from CIIE's Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area and four exhibitors from the Consumer Goods Exhibition Area presented their featured products at the roadshow.

Additionally, nearly 200 buyers from Heilongjiang participated in the roadshow to forge business connections with these exhibitors.

Li Guoqing, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, said that the roadshow aimed to bolster communication and potential cooperation between CIIE exhibitors and local enterprises in Heilongjiang. He added that he hopes enterprises from the province will actively participate in the 7th CIIE and share in the opportunities brought about by China's opening-up.

During the event, Grand Farm Group and Daqing Jintudi Water-saving Engineering Equipment Co Ltd signed memorandums of cooperation with the CIIE Bureau to become key buyers of the expo.
