A roadshow aimed at recruiting buyers for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, on Sept 20.

Twenty-one exhibitors from CIIE's Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and Intelligent Industry and Information Technology Exhibition Area attended the event and showcased their flagship products and technologies. Over 150 buyers from Yangzhou also participated, engaging in discussions with exhibitors.

Ge Hong, chief financial officer of the CIIE Bureau, said that preparations for the 7th CIIE have entered the final phase, with efforts underway to invite buyers and facilitate registration for professional visitors.

He also said that he welcomes active participation from all sectors of Jiangsu and Yangzhou in year's expo, encouraging them to make full use of the CIIE platform to embrace openness and share in an open future.

During the roadshow, the CIIE working team promoted the Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and Intelligent Industry and Information Technology Exhibition Area of the CIIE.
