Indonesia to participate in the second China International Import Expo Release date: 2018-12-13    Source:Xinhua

Indonesia will participate in the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) as the Southeast Asian country viewed the expo as an opportunity to boost export to China and reduce trade deficit.

China invites more Indonesian business to participate in the second CIIE which will be held on Nov. 5-10, 2019.

CIIE Bureau officially delivered the invitation in front of hundreds of Indonesian business representatives on Monday in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. Its Deputy Director Liu Fuxue said China provides potential market to absorb Indonesian products such as coffee, coal, bird nest, and tropical fruit.

Indonesia welcomes the invitation to participate in the expo with enthusiasm. During the event, several big Indonesian companies signed contract to participate in the expo.

Deputy Chairman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Yono Reksoprodjo said China is a promising trading partner.

Indonesia also participated in the first China International Import Expo in 2018.
