Shanghai mayor welcomes Singaporean enterprises to attend 7th CIIE Release date: 2024-01-29 Source:Multiple

Gong Zheng, mayor of Shanghai, welcomed Singaporean enterprises to actively participate in the seventh China International Import Expo during his meeting with Edwin Tong, Singapore's minister for culture, community and youth, second minister for law and co-chair of the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council (SSCCC), on Jan 25.
Gong said he hopes to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Shanghai and Singapore and encourages Singaporean enterprises to expand into Shanghai.
Tong congratulated Shanghai on its economic and social accomplishments over the past year. He said that leveraging the mechanism of SSCCC, the collaboration between Shanghai and Singapore will go deeper and become more fruitful.
