This year, the Kazakhstan exhibition booth takes the theme of the 10th anniversary of the BRI. The roof is in the shape of waves, symbolizing the development path. "Bread and rivers" are symbolic expressions rooted in the hearts of the Serbian people. This phrase is often used to emphasize the importance of essential goods, survival, fertile land, friendship and unity.

Bread represents staple food and symbolizes the basic need for nutrition. In Serbian culture, cereal cultivation and bread production are integral parts of traditional rural life. Bread is often seen as a symbol of joy, happiness and unity, and loaves are frequently baked during various ceremonies and rituals.

Serbia's pavilion at the 2023 CIIE is set for visitors to learn about the idea behind "bread and rivers" in Serbia. The first part of the exhibition allows visitors to see and experience the story of Serbian bread, where artists use bread as a symbol of gathering, family, friendship, progress and tradition. The second part aims to make visitors feel like a part of the pavilion design to better understand Serbian culture.

South Africa

In order to showcase South Africa as a country with diverse cultures, languages, races, beliefs and harmonious exchanges, the designers created an irregular top lintel for its pavilion. The design of this lintel is derived from the South African flag. The continuation of the Y-shape also symbolizes progress toward a mutually beneficial and fair entrance into the Chinese market.

The main color scheme of the booth is yellow, depicting South Africa's rich natural resources such as minerals. Another color is black, representing the indigenous people of this land. White, on the other hand, signifies peace and harmony.

The pavilion has been divided into three main areas: a reception and public area, an exhibition area and a demonstration and roadshow area. These areas can be distinguished through the flooring and architectural decorations, allowing visitors to easily locate and access a desired area upon entering the exhibition zone.

Famous as one of the worlds prominent coffee-producing countries, Vietnam is celebrated for its rich and robust-flavored beans. In addition to its prowess in coffee production, Vietnam stands out as a leading exporter of plant-based fibers, with a significant contribution toward unique handicrafts like straw hats. This nation is also renowned for its seafood, rice, silk products and ceramics, which are known for their superior quality.

Vietnam is a long-standing and valued participant in the CIIE, having contributed to the Country Exhibition on three previous occasions. At the 2023 CIIE, the Vietnamese booth spans an area of 256 square meters. Designed around the theme of "Vietnam — Window to the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area" the displays serve as a showcase of Vietnam's remarkable achievements and economic potential.
