Chen Jining, Party secretary of Shanghai, met with Geoff Martha, chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic, on April 26 and welcomed the company to bring its latest technologies and products to the sixth China International Import Expo.

Chen said that Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, and Shanghai, which is focusing on developing its healthcare industry, have a broad prospect for cooperation. 

Martha said that Medtronic will continue to invest in Shanghai and will deepen its cooperation with the city to support healthcare start-ups and advance medical research and development.
