CIIE's global roadshow promotes win-win cooperation Release date: 2023-10-08    Source:Multiple

With the sixth China International Import Expo global promotional events that kicked off in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on March 6, the CIIE has extended a warm invitation to the world to participate in and share in the spoils of the vast Chinese market, sending a clear signal of its commitment to open development and win-win cooperation.

Over the past few months, the CIIE working group has traveled to more than 30 countries and regions across five continents, with various countries expressing their support and eagerness to trade with China through the expo.

On May 22, over 400 representatives from the political, business, and academic circles of China and the United States gathered at the Wilshire Grand Center in Los Angeles. Erin Bromaghim, the deputy mayor of International Affairs for the City of Los Angeles, emphasized the support of the city government and trade organizations in the region for US companies participating in the CIIE.

More than 300 Argentinians from political and business circles also attended the promotional event held in Argentina. Several Argentine officials said that the CIIE has strengthened trade cooperation between Argentina and China.

In New Zealand, Justin Arroll, general manager of trade strategy at dairy giant Fonterra, said, "Participating in the CIIE has become one of Fonterra's most important endeavors in the Chinese market."
