Expat guide for global friends attending the 7th CIIE Release date: 2024-10-30    Source:english.www.gov.cn

The 7th China International Import Expo is about to open. Global friends will gather at the "four-leaf clover" in Shanghai, and jointly attend this grand economic and trade event.

In order to facilitate the work and life of foreign business people in China, China's Ministry of Commerce, jointly with the State Council of the People's Republic of China, have launched "A Guide to Working and Living in China as Business Expatriates (2024 Edition)" in the WeChat mini program of the State Council app.

‍‍The Guide includes four parts: Daily Life Services, Services for Stay and Residence in China, Relevant Services for Work in China, and Notes. It covers services concerning phone cards and bank cards; enabling mobile payments; currency exchanges; transportation; accommodations; applying for visa extensions, residence permits and work permits; handling social insurance; paying personal income tax, etc.‍‍

The Guide provides bilingual services.
