CIIE held Roadshow in Nanchang Ahead of Eighth Edition Release date: 2025-06-03 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
On May 29, a roadshow was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province to attract buyers for the upcoming eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE). Participating exhibitors and organizers included BD, TUTTI, Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation (CCEC), China RV & Camping Association, Mitsubishi Electric, Nippon, Signify, Alfa Laval, Standard Chartered, DHL, Yusen Logistics, EFC, and Top Technique (HK) Trading. The event also attracted more than 170 local buyers to explore future cooperation opportunities.

Ning Feng, president of the NECC (Shanghai), said in his speech that based on the success of the seven previous editions since 2018, the upcoming eighth CIIE will continue to feature sections such as the Country Pavilion, the Corporate Pavilion, Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF), Side events, and People-to-People Exchange Activities. Preparations for this upcoming CIIE, scheduled for November 5 to 10, have seen smooth progress. Over 260,000 square meters of exhibition space has been booked for the Corporate Pavilion section. For this section, wide coverage and professional presentation will still be the principles and with the total exhibition area basically the same as previous years, the overall structure will be further improved to allocate more space to innovations and cutting-edge technologies, products, and services. More professional buyers will participate in supply and demand matching sessions and buyer recruitment roadshows, and more visitors will come from a wider range of fields, including industry, education, and research institutions.
Chen Xiaoping, Party Leadership Group member of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Government, said that Jiangxi will make good use of the CIIE to promote opening-up, strengthen matchmaking for suppliers and buyers, and provide better services and support.
Yang Nie, deputy director-general of the Department of Market Operation and Consumption Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce, emphasized that more efforts will be made to improve the organization and exhibitor invitation for the eighth CIIE and ensure more effective and better-targeted matchmaking.
An Baojun, Standing Committee member of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and deputy mayor of Nanchang, said that Nanchang will enhance policy guidance and provide better services so that enterprises at the eighth CIIE will benefit more from the event.
Li Xiong, Party Committee member and deputy general manager of Bank of China Jiangxi Branch confirmed that the Bank will deliver high-quality services in all aspects for the CIIE as well as seek cooperation and share opportunities with its partners in Jiangxi.
At the event, the CIIE Bureau signed memorandums of cooperation with seven key buyers in Jiangxi, including Tellhow Power Technology Co Ltd, Liansheng Group, Jiangxi Omai Technology Co Ltd, HPY Sorting, Jinko Solar, Jiangxi Kangya Medical Products Co Ltd, and Jiangxi Shengjue Supply Chain Management Co Ltd.

The roadshow also briefed participants on the improved service measures for the eighth CIIE and the highlights of each exhibition section of the Corporate Pavilion, inviting participation.
Representatives of exhibitors from the Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products Exhibition Area, the Intelligent Industry & Information Technology Exhibition Area, the Trade in Services Exhibition Area Special Section, and the Innovation Incubation Special Section paid a visit to Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The event was co-hosted by the CIIE Bureau, Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce, Nanchang Municipal People’s Government and NECC (Shanghai), and was organized by Bank of China. You Ying, Party secretary and director general of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce served as the coordinator. Also present was He Qiang, deputy general manager of the Transaction Banking Department of Bank of China Head Office.
