Roadshow Gathers Participants for the Eighth CIIE in Suzhou Release date: 2025-06-06    Source:China International Import Expo Bureau

On June 5, a roadshow was held in Suzhou for the upcoming 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE). Participants included 17 overseas exhibitors, Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric, Hexagon, Omron, Emerson Electric, Nippon, Kärcher, Alfa Laval, Asahi Kasei, Nilfisk, Sumec, Ji Hui Duo, Ikea, Tempur, IQAir, Mootaa, and Speed Queen; as well as over 120 professional local buyers such as Shagang Group, Jiangsu Yaxin Precision Technology, Mingchi Intelligent Equipment, Sinopec Changzhou, Suzhou Hi-tech Import & Trading, and Suzhou Dingxin Supply Chain Management.

Ning Feng delivers his speech

Ning Feng, president of the NECC (Shanghai), said at the event that the CIIE strives for "continued success" in three aspects: improvement in exhibition structure with greater emphasis on sci-tech innovation and integrated development; better-targeted matchmaking to help global sellers and buyers secure more deals; and better services to enhance efficiency and provide better experience. He encouraged the Jiangsu trade mission to give full play to the province's advantages, attract more professional visitors to the CIIE, and organize side events and People-to-People Exchange Activities to promote cooperation.

Wu Haiyun, deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, said that the Jiangsu trade mission will devote more efforts to the preparation for participation in the 8th CIIE, striving to organize more participants and nail more deals. 

Sun Huimin, deputy general manager of the Jiangsu branch of Bank of China, confirmed that the Jiangsu Branch will provide strong support, especially all-round financial services, for all efforts regarding the CIIE, including exhibitor and buyer invitation and the organization of side events, helping Jiangsu enterprises better integrate into the global market.

During the road show, the CIIE Bureau signed memorandums of cooperation with High Hope Cold Chain Logistics, ecMax, Davis Standard, and Sany.

The roadshow also briefed participants on the improved service measures for the 8th CIIE and the highlights of each exhibition section of the Corporate Pavilion, inviting participation.

Exhibitors and buyers engaged in productive discussions at the event

A seminar was held during the road show to invite exhibitors to the 8th CIIE, attracting more than 10 foreign enterprises in the fields of equipment manufacturing, new materials, automobile, and consumer goods.

Representatives from exhibitors in the Intelligent Industry & Information Technology Exhibition Area and the Consumer Goods Exhibition Area Special Section paid a field visit to Suzhou New District. 

The road show was hosted by the CIIE Bureau, the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, and the NECC (Shanghai), with Suzhou Commerce Bureau serving as the organizer and Bank of China Jiangsu Branch providing support. The coordinator at the event was Zhang Fei, deputy director of Suzhou Commerce Bureau.
