                    Report on 4th CIIE's media coverage, influence to be released Release date: 2021-12-23 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
The report on the media coverage and influence of the fourth China International Import Expo, which was held from Nov 5-10, will be released on Dec 27. A launch event for the report will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on the same day.
The report, compiled by the CIIE Bureau and People.cn, analyzes the communication of information about the expo released by media outlets and the CIIE's official platforms. It also highlights the public's favorite topics and views of the expo.
According to the report, there were more than 2.54 million pieces of information about the CIIE from January to November this year, over 1.5 million of which were published from Nov 5 to 10. Media coverage of the CIIE continued throughout the year and helped create hype ahead of the fourth expo.
The report also shows that the public have been discussing a wide range of topics concerning the CIIE from different perspectives. In addition, the number of news reports by foreign media increased significantly.
Novel technologies gave a major boost to news coverage of the fourth CIIE, noted the report. Over 100 million people watched live streams of the event.
