Fifth CIIE seeks food, agricultural product purchasers Release date: 2022-06-28 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
An online roadshow aimed at attracting purchasers to the food and agricultural products exhibition area of the fifth China International Import Expo was held on June 24.

More than 160 purchasers attended the event and watched presentations about the exhibition area, which will feature a wide range of products, including vegetables, fruits, snacks, flavorings, beverages, meat and frozen seafood. Three subsections for crop seed, dairy products and agricultural products will be set up in the area.

Representatives from several exhibitors including Spring Sheep Milk Co and MapleVille United Trading Group Inc introduced their exhibits, while those from purchasers including Beijing Hualian Group Investment Holding Co and Changchun Ouya Co talked about their procurement plans. The two sides also held business talks during a matchmaking session.

Ma Fengmin, financial director of the CIIE Bureau, said preparations for the fifth CIIE, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, are progressing smoothly and expo organizers have started to attract purchasers.

President of the Federation of Consumer Products Trade Center of All China Cities Chen Yu said his organization, one of the CIIE partners, has held training sessions to help CIIE purchasers sign up for the expo and made plans on providing services to purchasers.
