CIIE holds investment promotion fair in Liaoning Release date: 2022-11-24 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
The CIIE Bureau and the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province held the CIIE Exhibitors Trade and Economic Cooperation Conference in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning, on Nov 18.
More than 40 CIIE exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom, participated in this conference. These exhibitors are from industries including low carbon and environmental protection, digital economy, medical equipment, as well as financial services. Over 30 of them are Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders.

Sheng Qiuping, China's vice-minister of commerce, said the conference was aimed at promoting trade and investment cooperation between foreign investors and Liaoning. He added that the CIIE has been held for five consecutive years and has become a platform to boost China's high-standard opening-up.

The conference was the first investment promotion activity held outside the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the venue for the CIIE, after the fifth expo concluded on Nov 10.
