More Singaporean enterprises welcomed to attend 6th CIIE Release date: 2023-04-27 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
A promotional conference for the sixth China International Import Expo was held in Singapore on April 25 with the aim to attract more enterprises from the country.
Nearly 200 representatives from the key industry associations and enterprises in Singapore attended the conference.
Zhong Manying, economic and commercial minister-counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, said at the conference that Singaporean companies have participated in the CIIE for five consecutive years and have achieved great results in tapping the Chinese market.
The embassy will continue to support more quality products, technologies and services from Singapore to enter the Chinese and global markets via CIIE, added the official.
Services in trade, food, and consumer goods from Singapore have been well received at the CIIE, said Liu Fuxue, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau.
Liu stressed that the CIIE is an ideal platform to boost cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed hope that more Singaporean enterprises would participate in this year’s expo.

Roland Ng, first vice-chairman of the China and North Asia Business Group of Singapore Business Federation (SBF), said at the conference that SBF has mobilized enterprises to participate in the expo over the past five years, and will continue to help Singaporean enterprises seek opportunities in the Chinese market at the sixth CIIE.
After the conference, several Singaporean enterprises signed up for this year’s expo. Among them is E3A Healthcare, a medical technology company that will be featured in the innovation incubation subsection at the sixth expo.
