The sixth China International Import Expo held a promotional roadshow to attract buyers in Jinan, Shandong province, on Sept 21.
Six exhibitors, including Nectar, CP Group, Organon, and Alcon, took part in the roadshow. The event also attracted more than 200 buyers from Shandong.
During the event, Qilu Pharmaceutical Co Ltd signed a memorandum of cooperation to become a key buyer of the CIIE.
Ning Feng, president of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the venue for the CIIE, said that the preparation for this year's expo has entered the final stage, and nearly 60 countries have confirmed their participation in this year's country exhibition.
In addition, more than 360,000 square meters of exhibition area for the business exhibition has already been booked and the number of participating Fortune Global 500 enterprises and industrial leaders has also exceeded that of last year, according to Ning.
