A promotional roadshow for the sixth China International Import Expo was held in Daxing district, Beijing on Sept 22.
Sixteen exhibitors from the medical equipment and healthcare products as well as intelligent industry and information technology exhibition areas, including Bayer, Varian, Keyence and ABB, displayed their flagship products at the event.
Fifty local buyers attended the event and learned more about the sixth CIIE's exhibitors and exhibits, registration procedures, as well as supportive measures. During the event, JD Group signed a memorandum of cooperation to become a VIP buyer of the expo.
To better connect exhibitors and buyers, the CIIE organized business talks and visits to the Daxing Biomedical Industry Base, also known as the China Bio-Medicine Park, and the Beijing China-Japan Innovation and Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
Song Shangzhe, vice-president of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the venue for the CIIE, said that efforts to attract buyers for this year's expo are in full swing.
To further enhance the expo experience for exhibitors and buyers, the CIIE organizers will improve the services for group visits and optimize the online supply and procurement hall, thereby assisting exhibitors and buyers in better connecting with each other, Song added.
Song expressed hope that the Beijing trade mission will continue to invite professional buyers to discuss intentional deals and organizing supportive activities.
