As 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, France will serve as a guest country of honor at the seventh CIIE. According to Xavier Chatte-Ruols, commercial counselor at the French Consulate General in Shanghai and deputy director for China at Business France, this year's French pavilion will be themed around 60 years of Sino-French diplomatic relations, showcasing the fruitful outcomes of the friendly exchanges between the two countries.
The pavilion will also host a series of high-level events and display a diverse range of French products from various industries. "We hope to showcase the unique charm of French products to Chinese consumers and professionals," said Chatte-Ruols.

Business France has set up national or business pavilions at every edition of the CIIE to date, presenting top-notch products and technologies from France. At the sixth expo, the agency's booth in the food and agricultural products exhibition area featured French cuisine and wine.
On April 16, a promotional event for the seventh CIIE was held in Paris, attracting many major French enterprises and institutions.
"We firmly believe that in this milestone year, China and France will enhance their exchanges and cooperation, raise their bilateral relations to new heights and create more benefits for the people of both countries," said Chatte-Ruols.
