The Nobel Laureate in Economics, Jean Tirole, has confirmed participation in the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). He will attend the parallel session themed "Deepening Regional Collaborative Innovation to Empower High-Quality Development of Hongqiao International Hub for Opening-up" and deliver a keynote speech.

Dr. Jean Tirole, an economist, is Director of Research at the Institute of Industrial Economics, University of Toulouse, France. Jean Tirole is known as a contemporary "genius economist". His main research fields include corporate finance, international finance, game theory, etc. His main books include Game Theory and Economics of Common Interests. In 2014, Jean Tirole won the Nobel Prize in Economics for his analysis of market forces and regulation.
