Former vice-Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, President of China Society of Economic Reform, Peng Sen, has confirmed participation in the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). He will attend the Parallel Session on "Exploring International Digital Governance and Creating Opportunities for Digital Industry & High-level Dialogue on Digital Trade Innovation".
Peng Sen was deputy to the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) , member of the Standing Committee of the NPC and vice-chairmen of the Finance and Economic Committee of the NPC. He has been engaged in overall planning for economic restructuring, public policy research and macroeconomic management. He has participated in drafting reform documents of the central government and the work report of the State Council, designing the comprehensive reform plan for price, taxation and finance in the 1980s, organizing the overall framework design of China's market economic reform and formulating the key points of the annual reform in the 1990s. Since the 21st century, he has been directly responsible for the planning design and comprehensive experiment of national reform. Since 1999, he has been the editor-in-chief of the China Reform Yearbook, and has been invited as a professor, doctoral supervisor in the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

The Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF) is an important part of the China International Import Expo (CIIE).
