HQF Warming-Up丨International Agri-Trade amid Uncertainties Release date: 2025-11-03 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
As international agricultural trade is facing multiple uncertainties arising from drastic external changes, it is imperative to enhance resilience and achieve high-quality development through international cooperation.
Against such a backdrop, the parallel session themed “Resilience and Innovation: High-quality International Agricultural Trade amid External Uncertainties” will be held under the 8th Hongqiao International Economic Forum on the afternoon of November 5, 2025, at Hall 4.2 (C1), National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
The session aims to bring together guests from governments, businesses, and academia worldwide to discuss strategies for addressing external uncertainties and jointly promote the high-quality development of international agricultural trade, thereby contributing to global food security and high-quality economic growth.
The session will consist of:
Opening Remarks;
Thematic Discussion I: Impacts and Challenges of External Uncertainties on the High-quality Development of International Agricultural Trade;
Thematic Discussion II: Innovative Approaches and Practical Pathways to Address Uncertainties and Promote High-quality International Agricultural Trade;
From a macro-policy perspective, the participants will analyze the underlying causes and impacts of uncertainties and explore collective responses. From the perspective of industry practices, the discussants will share practical approaches and experiences in addressing challenges and promoting high-quality trade.
