HQF Hosts Industrial Technological Innovation Site Visit in Hangzhou Release date: 2026-07-03    Source:中国国际进口博览会

From July 2 to 3, 2026, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum (hereinafter referred to as HongQiao Forum, or HQF) held an industrial technological innovation site visit for its members and partners in Hangzhou. The visit was hosted by the HQF Secretariat and organised by the HQF Research Center. The programme comprised a lecture and an interactive session, as well as a site visit to Unitree Technology. Around 50 representatives from HQF member enterprises, think tanks, media partners, and other partner organisations took part.

Lecture and interaction 

In the lecture and interactive session, the competent department of economy and information technology of Hangzhou presented an overview on Hangzhou’s artificial intelligence (AI) industry from the perspectives of computing power, data, algorithmic models, and terminal applications, analysed the roles of government support policies and the innovation ecosystem, and looked ahead to the development trends of the AI industry. HQF member enterprises engaged in a Q&A interaction with the department on topics such as AI applications. Following the lecture, the HQF Secretariat introduced the preparatory progress of the 9th HQF and preliminary considerations for the technology innovation parallel sessions, and listened to the participation needs of its member enterprises.

Site visit to Unitree Technology

For the site visit segment, HQF member enterprises, think tanks, media partners, and other partner organisations visited Unitree Technology.

Participants remarked that the event allowed them to experience firsthand the vibrant energy of Hangzhou as a hub of technology innovation, gain a more intuitive understanding of frontier developments in AI, humanoid robots and embodied intelligence, and learn more about the 9th HQF. They also expressed their anticipation for more similar events, which will unlock new opportunities for crossindustry collaboration and help better translate innovation potential into driving forces for industrial development.
