Hartmut Jenner, chief executive officer and chairman of the management board of Kärcher, will attend the sixth China International Import Expo, which will be held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

Kärcher, a German company that is a leader in cleaning technology, has participated in the CIIE for five consecutive years, during which its exhibition area and number of offerings have steadily increased.

In addition to Jenner, several of the company’s top senior executives will visit China this November and attend the sixth expo and its related activities.

According to Jenner, the success of the previous expos has indicated the resilience of China's economy and strengthened the company’s resolve to invest in China.

This year, Kärcher is planning to have an exhibition area of over 800 square meters and debut several new products at the sixth CIIE.

Since the inaugural edition of the CIIE in 2018, Kärcher has invested about 2 billion yuan ($288.02 million) in China.

In 2022, the company invested 100 million yuan in setting up a global research and development base in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The 13,000-square-meter base will serve as a bridge between the company and local universities, scientific research institutes, and innovation platforms.
