Comvita, the largest Manuka honey brand and producer in New Zealand, has confirmed its participation in the sixth China International Import Expo. It will showcase flagship and newest products at the expo.
Several senior executives of the company, including Alan Bougen, the co-founder, and David Banfield, the chief executive officer, will be attending this year's expo.
Comvita, which has participated in the CIIE for three consecutive years, believes that the expo has become one of the most important events for the company and has allowed the company to better expand its business and showcase products to Chinese consumers.
Bougen said that the annual CIIE showcases China's determination to promote high-level opening-up and continuous innovation. He further highlighted that the expo makes multinationals confident in China's development prospects and market potential.
The Chinese market has always been an integral part of Comvita's global strategy, and the company hopes to leverage the CIIE to showcase more of its brand stories and development updates to customers around the world, said Bougen.
Comvita was established in 1974 and its products are being sold in over 50 countries and regions worldwide.
