Andreas Weißenbacher, founder and chief executive officer of BWT Group, an Austrian manufacturing company of water treatment systems, has confirmed that he will attend the sixth China International Import Expo this November.

"We are full of confidence in the upcoming sixth CIIE," said Weißenbacher. He added that BWT will seize the opportunities provided by the expo and bring more intelligent and sustainable products, technologies and services to Chinese consumers.

BWT has participated in the CIIE for three consecutive years since the third edition in 2020. It has showcased innovative water treatment technologies to Chinese consumers and shared its concept of environmental protection through the expo.

The company is the current vice-president of the green and intelligent home appliances and furnishings special committee of the CIIE Enterprise Alliance. BWT is committed to promoting environmental protection and sustainable development. In 2021, the group was designated one of the world's 50 Sustainability and Climate Leaders, which is an initiative established by the United Nations and Bloomberg.
