Vandita Pant, chief commercial officer of the world-leading resources company BHP, has confirmed that she will attend the sixth China International Import Expo as well as the sixth Hongqiao International Economic Forum in Shanghai this November.

Pant said that the CIIE has become an important platform for promoting international trade and economic cooperation as well as seeking business opportunities. "We will continue to provide China with resource products in a reliable, highly-efficient and sustainable approach," she added.

This year will mark BHP's sixth participation in the CIIE as well as its second participation in the expo's business exhibition as an exhibitor. In 2022, the company participated in the fifth CIIE as a new exhibitor and showcased its strategic efforts in promoting low-carbon development.

As a diamond member company of the Hongqiao forum, which is an important part of the CIIE, BHP has been supporting China's commitment to opening-up, innovation and win-win cooperation. The company has also collaborated with firms in the industrial chain to jointly address climate and environmental challenges and support the global sustainable development.
